My name is Glynn Jones III. I grew up in Montgomery Alabama in the 1950s and early ’60s. This was the segregated South, turning to integration. George Wallace, KKK, protesters, Freedom Riders, and MLK. In the 1950s was Rock N Roll, Elvis, and Jerry Lee Lewis, country music with Hank Williams SR. 1960s was soul music, British Invasion, and folk music. Mid 60’s had Vietnam War protests. We had long hairs, hippies, peace and love, and the drug scene. I was right in the middle of it all. 1967 “Summer of Love” in Haight Ashbury, I was there. Hard drugs, narcotic’s, I’m right in the middle. In the 1970s in Atlanta spent years on the Methadone program. Had a family, went to work, raised 2 kids, and got off Methadone, now clean moved to the Florida Keys. I worked on boats, did commercial fishing, and learned to sail. I started running sailboats to Jamaica and bringing in loads of pot. I go into all details of these trips.

Read my book and learn it all. Throughout it all, I witnessed many people succumb to drugs, ruin lives in prison, people get down and never get back up. Me, I survived it all and I’m still here today. I had this book in me and it had to come out.

It’s all true and a damn good read! Enjoy!!
